Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Toneeto ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Toneeto, PBC, a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Toneeto Does

Toneeto provides verified product intelligence — structured data about software products (pricing, features, changes) designed for consumption by AI agents and humans. We collect this data from public sources, verify it against publisher websites, and publish it as Change Objects.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using email (magic link) or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. One person or entity per account — shared or bot accounts are not permitted.

4. Domain Claims

Publishers may claim ownership of domains through our verification process. By claiming a domain, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of the organization that owns that domain. False claims may result in account termination.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading product information
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Scrape or bulk-download data without authorization
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate, fresh product intelligence. However, product information changes frequently and our data may not always reflect the latest state. Toneeto data is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee that any specific claim is accurate at the time you read it. Every claim includes source citations and confidence scores so you can assess reliability.

7. Intellectual Property

The Toneeto name, logo, and service design are our property. Product intelligence data (Change Objects) is published under our open protocol and may be consumed by AI agents and applications per the protocol terms. Your submitted content (disputes, claims, corrections) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it for improving data accuracy.

8. Free and Paid Tiers

Toneeto offers free and paid service tiers. Free tier access is subject to rate limits. We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and rate limits with reasonable notice. Paid subscriptions are billed as described on our pricing page.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toneeto, PBC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
